Annulus Gear Recall - Reminder

UBCO would like to remind its dealer/service agent network and customers of the Annulus gear recall UBCO-S-00017 released in March 2022 about all 2020-21 Adventure and Work bikes.

There are still a number of bikes in circulation that have not informed UBCO if the recall has been carried out.

Dealers and service agents are reminded to familiarise themselves with the recall document below and check if the bikes they are servicing, which fall within this range, have had the recall completed.

This can be done by confirming if the bike's VIN falls within the range specified in the document and then using the Check Tool V2 to confirm if the recall has been carried out. Alternatively, if you are carrying out a motor service on a bike within this VIN range, confirm that there are alignment marks to the Annulus Gear and Hub body.

This is all found in the Dealer Hub> Knowledge Base

Click the button below to access the Check Tool and all related recall documents:

UBCO | Farm Source Trial

UBCO has now begun a 15 store trial with an UBCO System 2 with Farm Kit in selected Farm Source Stores. The pricing promotion finished on 31st July.

These bikes will remain on show for Farm Source customers to purchase using their Farm Source Accounts. So far we have started to see orders flow through for 6 dealers which is very positive.

Purchases are made with Farm Source directly to UBCO. From here orders will be sent to the customers closest UBCO dealer for Click & Collect (which enables commission* for that dealer). This enables the dealer to hand the bike over, show the customer how to use the bikes and establish the dealer - customer relationship.

    Farm Source options for purchase:

    • Gen5 ADV with Farm Kit
    • Gen5 ADV with Farm Kit & Realpro Clamp

*Commission includes assembly, Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI), adding on accessories, and a basic check completed when the vehicle has reached the earlier of 200kms or 10 hours of use.

    How are commissions paid?

    • Commissions will appear as credits on your statement
    • Payments as a result of credit balances on the claim account can be made on request
    • Alternatively, credit balances will be consumed through normal business trading.

    For more information contact sales@ubcobikes.com.
