I Am Climate Hope Tour |Mike King
A 29-day electric motorcycle journey around Aotearoa.
During October, Mike King and his I am Hope supporters will be riding around New Zealand to raise awareness of mental health and climate change. And they're doing it on UBCO 2X2s!
We're proud to support this epic ride from Auckland up to Cape Reinga down to Bluff and back to Auckland! They'll be visiting a town or city near you so make sure you check out the route and schedule. There's also some great tips and resources for managing climate anxiety on their website.
To help reduce diagnostic time/bills, we request that a technical support request is raised in instances where 45 minutes hasbeen spent investigating an issue and there is no clear solution.
The online Technical Support Form should be used and should contain clear and concise information about the original customer’s complaint, the testing process completed to date, and all associated findings. The Technical Service team will be notified of the submission, review this information and follow up via email with next steps.
Requests for additional diagnostic time above the approved warranty rates will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, based on the technician write-up and Repair Order (RO) clockings. Claims for extensive diagnostic labour time prior to liaising with UBCO technical support, will not be approved.
Warranty Claim Form
Diagnosing labour time now added
We have now included a new box for the inclusion of diagnosing labour time for warranty claims. In this box please add the amount of time that has taken to diagnose the fault. The team will then consider this on a case-by-case basis to add to the credit for labour on top of the ’allocated times’ for repair.
The Warranty Claim Form can be found via the UBCO Dealer Hub here.
The 'allocated repair time' sheet can also be found via the UBCO Dealer Hub.
Farm Source In-store Trial Update
UBCO continues to work with Farm Source to drive awareness of the 2X2 Sys2 with Farm Kit across New Zealand. Over the next few weeks, there will be changes to the locations where the bikes are available (from the original trial). Click here to see the new stores that will have these bikes.
These bikes will remain on show for customers to purchase using their Farm Source accounts. So far we have started to see orders flow through for 6 dealers which is very positive.
Purchases are made with Farm Source directly to UBCO. From here orders will be sent to the customers closest UBCO dealer for Click & Collect (which enables commission* for that dealer). This enables the dealer to hand the bike over, show the customer how to use the bikes and establish the dealer - customer relationship.
*Commission includes assembly, Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI), adding on accessories, and a basic check completed when the vehicle has reached the earlier of 200kms or 10 hours of use.
How are commissions paid?
Commissions will appear as credits on your statement
Payments as a result of credit balances on the claim account can be made on request
Alternatively, credit balances will be consumed through normal business trading.
What is it? Promoboxx provides dealers with professional digital content from UBCO. This includes Facebook and Instagram posts, a downloadable asset library, and more.
This is freefor dealersto sign up and get involved.
How does it work? There are two options for managing content from UBCO:
Auto-Share Posting: This allows UBCO to automatically post on your social channels. We won't take over your accounts and will only schedule 1-2 posts per month as needed (e.g. Fieldays promotion). With this auto-share option most of the work is already done for you. Posts will only include content relevant to your market (e.g. no commuting content if that’s not your focus).
Notification and Publish: We will send an email notification when a new campaign is available. You can log in, preview the content, customise the message, and publish directly through Promoboxx, which connects to your social channels.
With several dealers already onboard, below is the post published in late September, along with an example of other marketing assets.
Interested in getting involved? Sign up directly using the button below, or contact sales@ubcobikes.com
Dealers and Service Agents can now offer a Dash upgrade for customers who own Gen5 Work Bikes.
The Dash Kit installation guide for your workshop teams can be found here.
You can purchase part number ACC-DK-0-001 online through the B2B Portal.
Pricing shown below is for the kit only. This pricing does not include the labour to fit of 30 minutes which will need to be charged to the customer.
Dealer Hub
Log in | How to log in guide
The UBCO Dealer Hub is an extension of the UBCO website www.ubco.co.nz and has become the home of the latest sales information, brand assets, warranty, technical and service documentation as well as the online support forms.
There is a wealth of new content available, and the content will be subject to regular updates, so please familiarise yourself and your team with UBCO Dealer Hub and be sure to check in frequently!
As UBCO continues to enhance its online support for warranty and support claims, the UBCO Ticket Portal is now available in the Dealer Hub.
The UBCO Ticket Portal gives you access to your tickets lodged with UBCO. You can view ticket status and provide updates and communication directly on the ticket. This is found in the UBCO Dealer Hub, then follow the 'ticket portal' link.
